USER GUIDE AND FAQ
   
User Guide 
   
1.  For the categories of Direct Employers and Ad Agencies, click on the 'Register Here' link as shown in the diagram below.
 
2.   Direct Employers and Ad Agencies registrants will receive 'Login ID' and 'Password' via email. Tick ‘No’ at ‘Registered Firm?’ and enter the 'Login ID' and 'Password'.
 
3.  Direct Employers and Ad Agencies are required to register as an 'Employer Partner'.
   
4.  Fill in the 'Employer Partner' registration form and click 'Submit' button:
 
  
5.  For Registered Member firms, click 'Login’. Tick ‘Yes’ at ‘Registered Firm?’ and key in the firm’s registration number and password as shown in the diagram below:
6.  Click ‘Edit’ button if you wish to edit your company details. Proceed to click on ‘New Posting’ as shown in the diagram below:
 
  
7.  Click on ‘Add job title’ to add the job titles. Up to 3 job titles can be added here.
 
  
8.  Fill in the details on this page and click ‘Save’:
 
  
9.  Once confirmed, click ‘Submit’.
  
10.  You will see the following message:
 
  
11.  You will be notified if your job posting needs to be edited to comply with the Accountants Act 1967 and the Institute’s rules and regulations.
  
12.  Once your job posting (and any subsequent amendments) is approved, proceed to make the required payment. You would be able to check the job posting status through your company details. Kindly LOGIN to check the status.
13.  The advertisement will be published on the MIA’s website once all requirements are met and payment is received in full.
  
  
FAQ :
  
Can I post more than 1 job vacancy?
Yes, you can. Advertisers are entitled to post a maximum of 3 job titles per job posting.
 
What is the minimum duration of the job postings?
The minimum duration is 1 month.
 
Can I post more than 3 job postings?
Yes, you can. In the event where more than 3 job titles, charges for the additional job postings will apply.
 
Can I advertise vacancies for clerical staff on your website?
Yes, you can, but MIA will only accept job postings which are related to accounting and finance regardless of the positions level. For example, accounts assistant, accounts clerk, etc.
 
Can I amend or add additional information to my advertisement which has been posted?
Yes you can. Please email to membership@mia.org.my within 2 working days from the posting date.
 
Why is my job posting edited?
Each advertisement posted need to be edited to comply with the Accountants Act 1967 and the Institute’s rules and regulations.
 
How much is the charges per job posting?
The charges are as follows:

How do I know that my job posting is published?
MIA will notify the advertiser if the advertisement needs to be edited. Once your job posting is approved and full payment is received, a tax invoice will be issued. The advertisement will be published on the MIA’s website once all terms & conditions are fulfilled. To check on your advertisement status please LOGIN to the AccountingJobs@my portal at http://accountingjobs.mia.org.my/
   
Why there is no hyperlink provided to our website address which we have posted?
