Lead a team responsible for all spectrums of finance, accounting and taxation functions, as well as financial management and reporting.
Ensure the timely preparation of accurate financial statements on both entity and group consolidated accounts bases, and ensure compliance with applicable Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri, Sales Service Tax (SST), and other statutory requirements.
Maintain a sound and timely accounting and financial reporting system across the group, including overseeing and monitoring an effective account closing cycle and financial reporting process.
Prepare budgets, analyses, forecasts, projections, and financial performance reports in a timely manner.
Manage treasury and banking matters, cash flow planning and projection, and conduct analytical reviews.
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, accounting, and finance policies and procedures covering a wide range of accounting and financial activities.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, bankers, lawyers, and the company secretary on audit, tax, banking, and legal matters.
Foster a collaborative environment that ensures timely, accurate, and compliant financial management.
Lead and guide the team, providing training and support to ensure consistent practices group-wide.
Requirements :
Must be a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage.)
At least 3 years of experience in a financial managerial position.
Strong and hands-on technical knowledge in accounting.
Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and proactiveness; able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent skills in data analysis, report presentation, interpersonal communication, and leadership.
Strong problem-solving abilities to make sound judgments and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
Solid understanding of risk assessment; able to review financial and operational risks to ensure adherence to corporate policies.
Proficiency in transfer pricing and the ability to provide strategic financial planning to support business decisions.
