Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Record daily transactions including sales,purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare balance sheets, income statements (profit & loss), and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records regularly.
Calculate tax liabilities, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax laws and filing deadlines.
Calculate salaries, statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB in Malaysia), and disburse payroll promptly
Monitor incoming and outgoing payments, manage vendor and customer accounts.
Prepare necessary documents for internal or external audits and assist auditors during the process.
Provide timely financial reports and summaries to management for decision-making. Monitor company expenditures and suggest ways to improve financial efficiency.
Requirements :
MIA membership is required / preferred.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (LCCI, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA membership)
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience
Experience with a full set of accounts is preferred.
Familiarity with audit processes, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in using accounting software such as AutoCount
Proficient in using MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Good understanding of local financial regulations (e.g., SST, EPF, SOCSO, PCB).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Trustworthy, with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing financial procedures.
